Don`t forget to visit Grebaštica in first weekend when starts traditional fest called "Grebaška noć" with lots of programs, live music and when local place offer traditional food and all that with support of well known KUD "Bedem".
Šparadići - Grebaštica was founded in roman times, and the remains of some buildings, as well as the stone cover of a roman sarcophagus, which was found at the local cemetery next to the St. Peter and Mary Church, witness thereof.
The most impressive monument of this region is the well preserved defence wall, which was built in 1497, in order to protect the inhabitants from the Turks. |
